I haven’t done a post like this in awhile, and I thought it would be a fun astrological technique to share to help add a little context to your personal life. It might be especially helpful in moments where life feels especially out of control…but this tool is available and helpful year round! So whenever you come across this, take it as a sign that it’s your time to learn.

Annual Profections are an ancient timing technique. While the practice is a bit more advanced than beginner level astrology, I guarantee that once you start observing them you’ll find the themes EERILY ACCURATE in your life from year to year.

The numbers in each piece of the pie indicate the ages associated with that area of life. Find whatever age you are at present within the wheel, then look at the cheat sheet at the top to notice some life themes you might be confronting at this particular age.
What’s really cool to me about this ritual (perhaps especially effective around your birthday) is that it reminds you that you’re not alone in whatever season of life you’re navigating.
While people of your same numerical age can have radically different lives than you, of course, they’re also probably learning more than a few similar lessons.
I just celebrated my birthday a couple weeks ago and completed another 7th house profection year. It was definitely an age FULL of committed partnerships (among them, adopting a puppy!) and it’s so cool to recognize the themes. I’m officially in an 8th house profection year now…and so curious to see what the year has in store.
